Of the S.A.A.C meeting
Held on 12th of January 2005
 
IN ATTENDANCE:  Debbie Clauss, Doug Overes, and Karl Clauss
Call to order:  Doug @ 705pm
 
Presidents report:   
 Pricing for the non delegates for the national conference $215.00 for all three events.  Tickets are limited, so get them soon.
 We need to gather a group of people to attend Nationalconference, so far just a few can go.
 Our involvement on the National conference needs to be set and given to Edmonton.  More next meeting.
 Motion to accept a pay site for the website, all in favor As well, the name of Southernalbertachefs.ca was accepted.
 If anyone is interested in the books for the CCC, get ahold of Doug for more information.
 Job listings have been given to us, please see Doug for more information.
 Western regional conference, march 11-13/05 in Kelowna.
 
Secretary report:    
 Information on Dinner and Dance. Medicine hat Lodge is interested in becoming involved as our venue.  Debbie has started working on getting the benefactor, date, band, andsuppliers lined up.  See more information in coming meetings.
 
Treasurer's report:  
 Reimbursement for Joe from last meeting approved and received by Joe.                        
 Reminder that dues are due.
 
Education Director report: 
 Knorr apprentice candidate is Jennifer, she will be competing for a spot in Edmonton finals. Good luck Jennifer.
 
Old news:
 Nominations deadlines are March 9/05
 Crystal Garden Ice Carving Competition Feb 4-6/05 in Ottawa.
 
Open forum:
 Should we consider having a job posting spot on website?
 If so, how long do we leave postings up and what about copyrights? 
 Decision to look into further, more next meeting.
