Secretary's Report: Nothing to Report

Treasurer's Report: Paid $1000.00 dollars in commission from Perfect Edge, on knife cases bought.

Mention of Scholarships for Apprentices. One for each year level.

President's Report: Our VP is still MIA. Have not been able to successfully make contact.

Greg Moody is up for VP in 2010 season.

New Member: Joel Hasketh. Verified by Doug Overes & Amara Holzapfel.

Follow Up: Curtis Vollmin has not yet paid his dues this year.

National Chef Conference in Kelowna: All was good, would have liked more educational seminars. Biggest gathering of Junior members at any National Conference yet.

Next years National Conference to be held in Windsor, Ont.

Junior Chef Day: Possible Ideas to hold a trade show with food demo's. Not feasible as of yet. Junior's brainstorm, and come up with some different ideas. Question for discussion: Why aren't more Chefs joining our association? Let's find out why, talk to our employers and colleges.

Lethbridge College to be added to National website, as a college of culinary training.

Greg Moody to go talk to Rogers Sugar about being a corporate sponsor to Team Alberta

Steph and Daicya up for Junior President & Junior Vise President 2010. Designated to recruit 10-12 new junior members by 2010.

Generic jackets for JP& JVP? Lets get a price on them.

Demo Days. Discover Trades in April 2010. We can have a booth for free, as long as we are visual/ interactive. We would need are own banner. Approx: $150.00. Final verdict: We will enter.

Differ payments to May for new members of each year.

Bottle Drive Change: Lets contact (5) restaurants, and set it up were we can go get there bottles when they need us to. So that we are there exclusive bottle recipients. Everyone speak to your Chefs, were you work.

Fundraiser Ideas: Cookie Fundraiser... Everything could be donated. Greg Moody to draw up a plan of action & email members.

International Chef Day: We are not going to profit off of this, we are going to donate our time to the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen on Thursday Oct. 22nd for lunch.

World Skills Canada: Going on as we speak. Doug Overes to take students up tomorrow.

Alzheimer Fundraiser: Perhaps more work the what its worth. They must let us now by our next meeting if its a go or not. Otherwise we are withdrawing our interest in doing this fundraiser. Put to a vote: No abstentions, everyone is yes.
