Cherry Clafoutis Yield: 1 – 10” Flan Ingredients: 500 g Washed, Pitted Black Cherries 50 g Sugar To grease Butter 125 g Cake Flour Pinch Salt 50 g Caster Sugar 3 large Eggs, well beaten 300 mL Milk Dusting Icing sugar Procedure: • Preheat oven to 180 º C (350 º F) • Dust cherries with sugar and leave stand for at least 30 minutes • Grease flan tin and line the bottom with the cherries • Sift flour, salt and sugar into mixing bowl • Stir in well beaten eggs stirring until just mixed • Stir in milk until smooth • Pour over the cherries and bake for 35 – 40 minutes • Wait until lukewarm before dusting with icing sugar
