Olie Bollen Yield: Ingredients: 5 c. All purpose flour ½ c. Currants 4 c. Warm Milk 1 pkg. Yeast 4 tsp. Vanilla 2 tsp. Sugar Pinch Salt Dusting Icing Sugar Procedure: • Heat deep fryer to 375 º F • Sift salt and flour together • Add currants • Mix yeast, sugar and warm milk • Add vanilla • Add flour mixture • Cover well and let rise until double • Break off tennis ball size pieces and deep fry until golden • Transfer to a paper towel lined tray • Dust liberally with icing sugar while slightly warm
